• It was just great to be back.

  Seeing all of my old friends back in CA was something I really really needed after my many lonely days in Tokyo.

  Getting to drive with personal space and comfort was something I needed after months and months of riding packed trains.

  All in all, it was a great week.

  Congratulations to all my friends who graduated from Cal.  I know firsthand that graduating from Cal is an amazing accomplishment and that fact will stick with you for a very long time.  Just as I had written in my last entry... everyone just assumes you are elite by mentioning that you graduated from Cal (I guess this could be bad sometimes, but good generally).
